Welcome to the Chapter "Y", Heart of Tennessee Wings, official web site.

The Gold Wing Road Riders Association [GWRRA], founded in 1977, is recognized as the world's largest single-marque motorcycle association in the world. GWRRA provides safety, technical, and educational services to its Members world-wide. Dedicated to our Motto; Friends for Fun, Safety and Knowledge, GWRRA Members enjoy the freedom of belonging to a not-for-profit, non-religious and non-political organization.

Friends - GWRRA Members are men and women from all walks of life with varied interests and backgrounds. We have Gold Wing and other touring motorcycle riders of all age groups. Some ride solo and many ride with small and large groups! New Members join GWRRA especially for the technical information we share; some of our Members join for the enjoyment of riding with friends and also meeting new friends.

Fun - As a family organization, GWRRA has certain fun groups to include restaurant, picnic and camp out runs. We also have GWRRA events to include charities, parades, and small or large events across the country.

Safety - We strive for improvement through GWRRA safety workshops. We will share technical expertise, news and tips about riding, maintenance and the best touring routes in the world. Safety is for Life.

Knowledge - While generalization about a group of individuals as large as today's GWRRA is difficult, GWRRA Members are likely to be independent thinkers, fun-loving, generous, adventuresome, cooperative and unfazed by the natural challenges of riding in the rain, temperature extremes or highway uncertainties. Many Members have completed CPR and first aid training, making them the best-prepared motorcycle riders on the world's highways!

Chapter "Y" is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, with over 100 members from all walks of life and all age groups. We meet on the third Saturday of each month at the Jaycee Colonel's Club building in Cannonsburgh Village in Murfreesboro. We have a pancake and sausage breakfast with coffee and juice for a small donation starting at 9:00am. At 10:00am we have a short, FUN filled, and informative Gathering routinely followed by a planned group ride, weather permitting. We have a "Thursday Night Dinner Ride" every week to a local restaurant or one up to an hour away. It is a great opportunity to have good FUN, good food and enjoy great Friends. From time to time we have a Sunday afternoon ride that will include a stop somewhere for Ice Cream. Not to forget all the "spontaneous" rides that our members have when they hear of a new place to go see or about interesting and challenging roads to ride.

The closeness and dedication that the members have toward each other and the organization, gives you a feeling of an extended family. We invite you to attend our next Gathering or Dinner Ride, and introduce you to our many fine folks. Throughout the year, there are many rallies, fun days, picnics and activities that you can enjoy locally, or across the country, if you desire. The fun, food, and fellowship are there whenever you have the opportunity to take advantage of them. Bring your spouse, a friend, or anyone else no matter what kind of motorcycle they ride. We promise that you will enjoy the experience! Please feel free to call us at any time, if we may be of assistance to you.
